Dansk Overflade Teknik A·S (DOT), was established in 2002 by the merging of Herning Galvanisering A/S, Dansk Overfladeteknik A/S (Fasterholt), FJ Varmforzinkning A/S (Ferritslev) and FJ Varmforzinkning A/S (Køge) and later by the takeover of Middelfart Galvanisering A/S in 2003.
On the 13th May 2004 the production in Middelfart was moved to Fasterholt and Ferritslev, after which all production in Middelfart has stopped.
Thanks to our four production plants, two in Fasterholt, one in Ferritslev and one in Køge, respectively, we are close to our customers in Denmark, Southern Sweden and Northern Germany.
Besides the company DOT owns 2 companies in Sweden – JiWe Varmförzinkning in Sölvesborg and JiWe Varmförzinkning in Eskilstuna.
The fact that the individual production units more or less offer the same core services makes it possible for Dansk Overflade Teknik to ensure a high level of quality, based on great flexibility and short times of delivery.
Our large, uniform production volume also makes it possible for us to implement innovation programmes with a view to improving our production capacity and competitive power.
DOT is certified both in accordance with the DS/EN ISO 9001 quality management system and the DS/EN ISO 14001 environmental management system and is continuously working to improve its goals in these two areas.
Hot-dip galvanizing and painting
DOT has many years' experience in hot-dip galvanizing, followed by painting. Our technical plant includes fully automatic low and high temperature systems (centrifuge), traditional low temperature systems, high technological, mechanical cleaning systems (shot blasting), thermally sprayed zinc and paint treatment systems.
For our customers, this means that they need only a single supplier in surface treatment, ensuring them a considerably higher degree of job guarantee since DOT is the only one responsible for both hot-dip galvanizing and painting.
Considerable investments in production and process technologies have enhanced the flow, facilitated our handling of items and improved the external as well as the internal environment. This has made DOT a better, more attractive workplace, and through its actions, the company has also documented its environmental awareness.
Sub-contractors
As a sub-contractor, DOT offers delivery of turnkey components - business to business - based on strategic agreements with our major business connections. As a sub-contractor, we also assume full responsibility for production and logistics, thereby ensuring our customer shorter production time, reduced risk of defects and increased reliability of delivery.
