Painting of hot-dip galvanized steel constructions - a matter of confidence Painting hot-dip galvanized materials serves a practical as well as a visual purpose: Improvement of the corrosion protection and application of an alternative colour to the steel construction. Good protection against corrosion, also under extreme conditions, is further improved by correctly applied paint. Before paint is applied, the surface of the steel construction is grinded to remove irregularities, if any. Thorough pre-treatment is essential to the final result, after which an intermediate coating is applied followed by a top coating. Pre-treatment, the individual, intermediate coatings and the top coating are controlled separately in order to achieve the best possible result.
Fire retardant paint The application of fire retardant paint between the primer and the topcoat improves the resistance of the steel construction to heat stress in case of fire. Therefore, fire retardant paint can delay or prevent the construction from collapsing, and thus save values, and even human lives.
Paint - a matter of confidence Our eyes cannot see what is underneath the upper coat of paint. Only time will disclose whether the work has been carried out properly. At Dansk Overflade Teknik A·S, ambitious quality control ensures that surfaces are not damaged by the ravages of time. Surface treatment is a matter of confidence, and our goal is to be worthy of this confidence. !
