Dansk Overflade Teknik A·S takes over Middelfart Galvanisering A/S

With effect from 25th July, Dansk Overflade Teknik A•S has taken over Middelfart Galvanisering A/S.
Middelfart Galvanisering was sold by Bekaert Handling Group A/S who is one of Europe's leading suppliers of logistics equipment in the form of roll, pallet and liquid containers for distribution and storage. The business area of Middelfart Galvanisering is surface treatment through hot-dip galvanizing. With its staff of 50, the company has an annual turnover in the order of DKK 40m.
Through the acquisition, Dansk Overflade Teknik A•S intends to boost its market position to make continued production and product development possible in surface treatment, including hot-dip galvanizing.
With its production facilities in Fasterholt, Ferritslev, Køge and now Middelfart, DOT has a strong market position in hot-dip galvanizing, thermally sprayed zinc coating and painting. After the acquisition of Middelfart Galvanisering, DOT has a total of 475 employees.
DOT was established through a major merger in 2002 and the acquisition of Middelfart Galvanisering is a further, natural development of the growth strategy established for the Group.
